For new members who have already signed a contract and are moving in at the regular time, your mailbox will be assigned to you at the start of the semester. For Spring 2026, this will be by the start of Week 2 (Mon, Feb 2).
Under some special circumstances, you may want mail marked for a non-current resident of HiP to be stored at HiP. For instance:
In all of these circumstances, please use the mailbox special request form to let us know about your particular situation. We will reach out to you to let you know that your request has been processed.
If we receive mail from an unknown name, or if you have moved out and you have not given us any indication about what we should do with your mail, your mail will be placed in an overflow bin, and may be thrown at any time. It's impractical for us to sort through every non-resident who receives mail (and we don't necessarily have the space to do so), so if you are expecting for this situation to arise, please reach out to the Network Manager ahead of time so we can make sure this doesn't happen!!
